Senior Occupational Hygienist

A fully qualified Occupational Hygienist for over 12 years, Emma has wide-ranging experience across all areas of occupational hygiene and the assessment, surveillance, and control measures of chemical, biological, and physical hazard exposure as they relate to health. In her role as a Specialist inspector for the HSE, this expertise was focused on the application of health and safety legislation. Where she offered regulatory support and technical advice in high hazard industries. Reducing the risks to health, and ensuring employer compliance. Key areas of work have included that around Legionella and Local Exhaust Ventilation, of which she is a BOHS Examination Marker. She has been an expert witness for criminal health and safety cases including those relating to exposures to isocyanates, asbestos, dichloromethane, carbon monoxide, and bioaerosols.
