Senior Occupational Hygienist

Andy has a BSc(Hons) in Environmental Biology, the Diploma in Occupational Hygiene from the University of Manchester, and the Diploma of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (Dip Occ Hyg) from the Faculty of Occupational Hygienists within the British Occupational Hygiene Society.

He holds the status of Chartered Scientist (CSci); is also a Chartered Member of the Faculty of Occupational Hygienists (CMFOH) and a member of the Institution of Environmental Scientists (MIEnvSc).

Andy has worked full time as an asbestos consultant/occupational hygienist for 29 years during which time he has been both quality and technical manager for large UK consultancies.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE:

Occupational asthma, bladder cancer, lead poisoning, irritant and allergic contact dermatitis, respiratory diseases, silicosis, exposure to irritant and asphyxiant gases, asbestos diseases including asbestosis, mesothelioma and lung cancer, breaches of statutory duty (Control of Asbestos Regulations).
