Covid at Work Study (CAWS)- Exploring transmission within the food and drink processing industry

What is the extent of past cases of COVID-19, and case rates relative to the number of people employed, across the food sector? What are the associations between the incidence of new cases of COVID-19 and features of the workplace and workforce? What are the risk factors for COVID-19 infection in the sector, and what guidance can be provided to reduce the risk of transmission among workers? The project was initiated in October 2020 and concluded in April 2022.

This study sits under theme 3 as part of the wider PROTECT COVID-19 National Core Study. To find out more click here.
