Dr. Miranda Loh join IOM’s senior management team as the Director of Science and Engagement

IOM is pleased to announce that Dr. Miranda Loh is joining IOM’s senior management team as the Director of Science and Engagement.

Over the past 8 years she has led on projects for IOM advancing exposure science. Her work on face masks has been influential in guiding their use in reducing air pollution exposures and, more recently, as a means of protection from the virus that causes COVID-19. She has also had a lead role in the PROTECT COVID-19 National Core Study on environmental transmission of the virus.

Her new role focuses on increasing the influence of science on occupational and environmental health policy and on everyday lives, ensuring that people benefit from all the work being done.

“Miranda is very highly regarded at IOM and by the wider research community, demonstrating exceptional leadership and technical expertise. Her vision for the future of research at IOM is exactly where we want to be going and is aligned with the overarching strategy.” Nathan Baker, CEO

If you're interested in partnering with us to improve human health in the built environment and the workplace get in touch with Miranda.
