COVID-19: We are here to serve you
19.03.2020In these unprecedented times, I am writing to outline how IOM is responding to the challenge we are all facing with the escalating Covid-19 pandemic and to reinforce that we are committed to continuing to provide the high level of service you have come to expect from us.
IOM’s purpose is to improve people’s health and safety at work, at home and in the environment through excellent independent science. Our clear priority, and our core purpose, is to ensure the health and safety of our staff, customers, partners and the wider public, and to maintain the continuity of our research and services.
Through the use of technology, we are well equipped to support agile and flexible working so that our staff can continue to work with you and keep in touch. We are also helping with the wider efforts to fight this pandemic through our hospital ventilation and RPE teams’ work supporting frontline healthcare professionals.
