Trainee Administration Assistant
Salary between £7,176 and £12,000 per annum
The IOM is an internationally recognised centre for research, consultancy and training in the fields of occupational and environmental health and hygiene.
We are seeking a Trainee Administration Assistant to provide an effective and efficient administrative support to the IOM Headquarters at Riccarton, Edinburgh.
You will be working closely with the Section Head of Secretarial and will undertake a variety of administrative support duties. You should possess good communication skills and be helpful and professional both over the telephone and on a face to face environment. A minimum of Standard Grade education including English and Mathematics is essential.
Your main duties include reception cover, organising travel and accommodation, processing information (copy type or audio), reproducing and binding reports and presentations, setting up and coordinating appointments and meetings and booking rooms, venues and equipment. You will also be responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail and maintain stationery and sales materials.
