Steven is Head of Authorising Engineering at IOM Consulting, with 16 years of engineering experience across healthcare and other safety-critical industries.
An Incorporated Engineer and Authorising Engineer (Ventilation), Steven has extensive experience in healthcare engineering management, ventilation systems and engineering risk assessment. His background includes managing engineering services across multiple hospitals, overseeing operating theatre refurbishments and providing specialist Authorising Engineer support to healthcare facilities.
Steven is a member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM), the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and the SVH Society, and is involved with IHEEM’s Ventilation Technical Platform. He takes a practical, evidence-based approach, working closely with clients to improve engineering systems, manage risks and support patient safety.
