About Dr Andrew Phillips
Andrew is a Senior Occupational Hygienist with extensive experience in chemical exposure, occupational hygiene and workplace health risk.
He spent more than 30 years with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), including as a Specialist Chemical Inspector. His work covered workplace exposure and control, exposure limits, regulatory guidance, research, exposure modelling and the management of the National Exposure Database.
Andrew later worked as a Senior Scientist at the European Chemicals Agency, providing specialist exposure expertise for REACH processes. His experience spans a wide range of substances and industries, with particular expertise in historical exposure and the practical application of workplace exposure controls.
