About Carolyn McGonagle
Carolyn is Head of Chemistry at IOM Consulting, with more than 40 years of practical laboratory experience in occupational hygiene analysis, specialising in workplace exposure to dusts, solvents and vapours.
Her expertise covers a range of analytical techniques, including chromatography and spectroscopy, as well as laboratory method development. She also has experience in mineralogical analysis, including asbestos, dust and respirable crystalline silica.
Carolyn leads IOM’s chemistry laboratory team, overseeing analytical work and maintaining robust quality procedures to ensure clients receive reliable results to support workplace exposure assessments and informed decisions.
