Senior Occupational Hygienist

Graeme is a professional safety practitioner with over 20-years practical experience. Graeme has extensive experience managing occupational health and safety risks across a wide range of industrial situations.

Graeme spent 16 years at IOM as a Senior Scientist between 1990 and 2006 and has worked internationally since 2006 in the oil and gas industry until his return to IOM in 2015.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE:

Skills include hazard identification; exposure assessment for hazardous substances (chemicals, asbestos, etc.) and physical agents (ionising radiation, noise, thermal); and technical safety risk assessments. Graeme is a Chartered Member of IOSH and BOHS and has a PhD in Occupational Hygiene awarded by Aberdeen University.
