Dr. Miranda Loh join IOM’s senior management team as the Director of Science and Engagement

Over the past 8 years she has led on projects for IOM advancing exposure science. Her work on face masks has been influential in guiding their use in reducing air pollution exposures and, more recently, as a means of protection from the virus that causes COVID-19. She has also had a lead role in the PROTECT COVID-19 National Core Study on environmental transmission of the virus. 

Her new role focuses on increasing the influence of science on occupational and environmental health policy and on everyday lives, ensuring that people benefit from all the work being done.
