If you wish to review the steps required to control exposure to hand arm vibration then come to the IOM's nextawareness evening seminar being held on the 23rd of June.

Are your employees using hand held vibrating tools?

Do you know if the risks associated with such use are being controlled?

The session will consider the requirements of managing hand arm vibration exposure within the workplace; reviewing the legal requirements of the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations; considering the means of recording exposures; contemplating the health implications of those exposed to hand arm vibration and the outcome of legal cases.

In addition to the presentations delivered by IOM staff we will be joined by representatives from Reactec – demonstrating their hand arm vibration monitoring and management system with automatic data collation and cloud based reporting which can be used to aid in the management of continuous reduction of HAVs exposure.
