Pneumoconiosis Field Research: Environmental conditions at South Kirkby Colliery 1977-1980: Compositional results
This addendum lists the results of the analyses of the airborne dust samples taken at South Kirkby Colliery; 1977-1980 which were not available in time for the Technical Memorandum TM/82/1.The ash and quartz concentrations, which have risen only slightly in the three years, have mean values of 1,87 mg/rn^ ash and 0,26 mg/m3 quartz, similar to the levels reported for 1975 and 1976. The amounts of kaolin, mica, calcium, magnesium and iron carbonates observed were also virtually unchanged.
