Respirable dust concentrations at Linby Colliery are tabulated for the period April 1979 to March 1980. Information regarding seams-worked, outputs, method of working, dust suppression and manpower, together with the associated dust concentrations is presented in a series of face charts.The mean coalface respirable dust concentration was 4.1mg/m3. Total dust concentrations are given, and were on the average five times as high as respirable dust concentrations.A limited number of observations of nitrous fume concentrations were made. “”
