Full Time, 37.5hrs Monday to Friday, flexible hours to suit.

The IOM is an internationally recognised centre for research, consultancy and training in the fields of occupational and environmental health and hygiene.

Following heavy investment into Oracle NetSuite, a cloud-based ERP system we are looking for an experienced NetSuite Developer / Consultant to enable our continuous development of the programme, with a view to integrating and automating business processes across our diverse range of activities, such as CRM, lead generation, project management and bespoke dashboard reporting and analytics.

The key aim of this role is to enable us to realise the potential of our investment in the NetSuite application, through resolution of outstanding system issues, analysis of business processes/workarounds and development of NetSuite native functionality, as well as input into the development and implementation of our NetSuite product roadmap.

This role provides the opportunity to work on complex organisational processes and activities which are performed in other systems, services and applications and to work with business leaders and subject-matter experts to integrate these application and system areas into NetSuite thus realising one integrated solution.

Main Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work cross-functionally across all areas of the business to understand organisational processes and provide input and advice on usage of Oracle NetSuite application to meet business operational goals and objectives.
  • Troubleshooting day to day queries, other issues and taking responsibility for system maintenance.
  • Work with Oracle NetSuite on testing system updates/enhancements and other changes to the core NetSuite product.
  • Work with relevant teams/end-users in the organisation to address technical issues/limitations/workarounds in the applications and provide solutions or relevant and appropriate changes to meet user and business requirements.
  • Working closely with relevant business stakeholders, provide input and guidance into the development and implementation of the IOM strategic roadmap for the NetSuite application. Take a lead role in proposing, developing and rolling-out suitable solutions and application development to address organisational issues and requirements.
  • Train end users on system updates, changes and new implementations.
  • Participate in designing, developing and implementing NetSuite native solutions to replace other organisational systems and processes which require modernisation or are no longer fit-for-purpose.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years recent experience in a similar NetSuite development / testing role with solid experience with development languages, JavaScript, SuiteScript, HTML, CSS, API Integration, SuiteAnalytics etc.  They will also be conversant with NetSuite workflows, customisation, Client Script, Event Script, SuiteLet, RESTlet and Workflow with the ability to develop, test and deploy new functionality and customisations which solve business issues and increase organisational efficiencies and capabilities.

The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic and can-do approach to work, with the ability to build relationships, understand challenges using their curious / questioning mindset and an exceptional attention to detail.
