The Health, Safety and Health Promotion Needs of Older Workers: Building an Evidence Base for a Diverse Workforce
The IOM has been funded by IOSH (http://www.iosh.co.uk/) to carry out a systematic review of the research literature on the health, safety and health promotion needs of older workers. This project aims to build an evidence base in the UK from current and recent international research to address the questions of health, safety and health promotion, identify effective intervention strategies and assess their applicability in the UK.
In addition to the review, the project, in conjunction with IOSH will develop best practice guidance on the management of older workers which will be publicly available on completion of the work.
