New ICMM publication encourages more accurate health risk assessment for metals

ICMM's new publication - Health Risk Assessment Guidance for Metals (HERAG) has been released. HERAG is the result of a three-year collaborative effort between Eurofer, Eurometaux and EBRC Consulting. The document contains advice about methods available for human-health based risk assessment of metals. The key concepts are presented in a series of eight fact sheets, which have been peer-reviewed by a panel of leading independent scientists - including John Cherrie from IOM.
