REACH Technical Support to Registrants and SIEFs

We can provide technical support to the lead registrant (e.g. joint dossier preparation), to SIEF participants, or act as a third party representative. The IOM has extensive experience in co-ordinating industry groups to achieve a common goal, providing technical support to clients involved in different types of negotiation and in acting as a technical representative for clients.

We are able to:

  • Identify and review the available toxicological, exposure and human health information and assess its suitability for inclusion in the risk assessment process
  • Advise on human health issues including carcinogenicity, mutagenicity and reproductive toxicity (CMR) effects
  • Develop and characterise relevant exposure scenarios
  • Undertake exposure modelling and/or exposure measurements to fill the data gaps and inform the risk assessment process
  • Review and prepare safety data sheets
  • Establish Derived No Effects Levels (DNELs), undertake appropriate risk assessments and prepare chemical safety reports

We are well placed to assist you in your dealings within your SIEF or to become your third party representative to ensure your best interests are served.
