REACH Chemical Safety Assessment
The purpose of the Chemical Safety Assessment (CSA) is to assess risks arising from the manufacture and/or use of a substance and to ensure that they are adequately controlled.
The IOM has extensive experience of risk assessment, occupational hygiene and exposure assessment necessary for the preparation of your Chemical Safety Report. Given our experience, we are ideally placed to help you develop your Exposure Scenarios or perform the entire Chemical Safety Assessment for your substance.
We can:
- Undertake exposure assessment including measurement and/or modelling to fill the data gaps;
- Identify and develop Exposure Scenarios;
- Carry out risk characterisation;
- Develop Risk Management Measures and appropriate guidance for your downstream users.
We are able to identify and review the available toxicological, exposure and human health information, including carcinogenicity, mutagenicity and reproductive toxicity (CMR) effects, and assess its suitability for inclusion in your Chemical Safety Report.
